The colour of Barbie

Costumes paddle in pink enamel, coquettish frills, almost kitsch compositions, candy and syrupworld. Everything what is pink, frilly, barbie's. Of course we outgrew our sissy-period, it does not mean that sometimes it feels not good to dandle back ourselfs to the empire of the good old times' dreamballoon. Adhesive palms by cotton candy, rainbow-lollipop sucking grimy face, or rickety collections by spumy frill-creations. All in terms of the candy-style, flavoured with the pleasure of colourful flowers, whereby there's nothing headier.
Rózsaszín mázban tocsogó ruhaköltemények, kacér fodrok, giccsre hajazó komponálások, cukorka és szirupvilág. Minden, ami rózsaszín, fodros, barbibabás. Persze kinőttünk már kislánykorunkból, ez nem jelenti azt, hogy néha nem esik jól visszaringatni magunkat a régi szép idők birodalmának álomlufijába. Vattacukortól ragadó tenyerek, szivárványnyalókát szopogató maszatos arc, vagy éppen habos-babos fodorkölteményektől roskadozó ruhakollekciók. Mind-mind a candy-stílus jegyében, megfűszerezve a színes virágok nyújtotta élvezettel, amitől nincs is mámorítóbb.

In the Moschino Cheap & Chic Spring 2010 collection not only the background's colour catch my eyes but it's larded with this icecream pink tone. The Moschino's Cheap and Chic version is cheerful and young, the mix of hippy and mod. Black, white, as this candy.

A Moschino Cheap & Chic 2010-es Tavaszi kollekciójában nem csak a háttér pinkje szúrja az ember szemét, de az egész kollekció tele van tűzdelve ezzel a fagyirózsaszín árnyalattal. A Moschino Olcsó és csini variációja vidám és nagyon fiatal, a hippi és a mod keveréke. Fekete, fehér, no meg candy.

I don't know if I ever saw more kitsch photo than this (probably yes)... Grannyflowered, gilt sofa, lolly dress with violet jewels, flaming-coloured plants. Simply heinous and magnificent.
Nem tudom, hogy láttam-e már ennél giccsesebb fotót (valószínűleg igen)... Nagymamavirágos, aranyozott szófa, nyalókaruha lila ékszerekkel, rikító színekben pompázó növények. Egyszerűen förtelmes és fönséges.

If I look back last year, there was Luella's Spring collection, which reifies the a-bit-psycadelic-but-ladylike category, or even Lolita's character would fit in a mini like one of these. Barbie, too.
Now I take the opportunity to show you an undefiniable dress worn by Lucy Liu... unfortunately I could not find out who's the designer but my heart is pounding for it! These baggies and buffers... ahh! Like the bulging fibers of a mutant plant. It's lovely beyond measure.
Ha kicsit visszatekintünk tavalyra, ott volt a Luella tavaszi kollekciója, ami megtestesíti a kicsit-pszichadelikus-de-csajos fogalmat, vagy éppen még Lolita karatere is beleférne egy ilyen kis minibe. Hát még Barbie.
Itt ragadnám meg az alkalmat, hogy mutassak egy Lucy Liu által viselt, szinte meghatározhatatlan ruhadarabot... sajnos nem tudtam kideríteni, hogy ki a tervezője, de egyszerűen kalapál a szívem érte! Ezek a bugyrok meg puffok... ahh! Mint valami mutáns növény kidülledő rostjai. Végtelenül bájos!

Viktor & Rolf Spring 2010

I think, I don't need to introduce these dreamheels to anybody. For short I adore them, as they are. They remind me of a paeonia which bringing its blossoms into the world and as the fresh buds sticks out their heads from the mother's warm uterus and they strip their twisty fragrant petals to amaze everyone. Well, I won't eulogize the Viktor & Rolf high heels, I won't praise it to the skies, I won't slobber on it (oh, yes I will) because I say only one thing: long live the gross ruffles, forevermore! Amen.
Új érzem, ezt az álomsúzit már nem kell senkinek bemutatni. Egyszerűen imádom, úgy ahogy van. Egy virágát éppen a világra küzdő babarózsára emlékeztet, ahogy a friss bimbók éppen kidugják fejüket anyjuk meleg méhéből, és kesze-kusza illatos szirmaikat lassan kibontják, hogy ámulatba ejtsenek mindenkit. Na jó, nem fogok itt ódákat zengeni a Viktor & Rolf magassarkúról, nem fogom a mennyekig magasztalni, nem fogom a nyálam csorgatni rá (de igen), mert csak annyit mondok: éljenek a burjánzó fodrok, mindörökké! Ámen.

I dwell a bit more on Viktor & Rolf. The dutch boys surely like pink as much as musik, in this manner could their famous violin-dress get born in the Spring 2008 collection. Necklace, brooch or collar? Rather a harlequin costume. The collection from delicacy, moxie and babyfaces is excellent.
Időzzünk még kicsit Viktor & Rolf mellett. A holland fiúk bizonyára bírják a rózsaszínt, hát még a muzsikát, hiszen így születhetett meg híres hegedű-ruhájuk a 2008-as Tavaszi kollekciójuk részeként. Nyaklánc, bross vagy gallér? Inkább egy harlequin jelmez. A kollekció finomságból, vagányságból és babaarcokból jeles.

Miu Miu Platform Mary Janes

My lord, I am totally done of these shoes! Roughly I'd glut all of the Miu Miu Spring 2010 shoes, my other big favourite is the swallow-kitten one, I want them sooö much! Miaow miaow. Lastly, with no comment: the perfect embodiment of the barbie-face. No need for words. (Valentino Spring 2008 Couture.)
Úristen, hát kivagyok ezektől a cipőktől! Nagyjából az összes 2010-es Tavaszi Miu Miu cipőt zabálnám, a másik nagy kedvencem még a fecskés-cicás páros közülük, nagyon kellenek! Nyáu nyáu. I was enjoying myself on cutie ruffles and was stretching myself in barbie's glamourworld... now I guess I got enough of pink for a while.
Kiélvezkedtem magam a csini fodrokon, és kicsit nyújtózkodtam barbi varázsvilágában... azt hiszem, most egy időre elég volt a rózsaszínből.
